Daniel’s Dreams Come True – Playing in the Park in Plovdiv, Bulgaria…

Today we had a nice relaxing day after the crazy whirlwind that was Bulgarian local bars. We decided to take a stroll in the busy but relaxing park near the main square of Plovdiv and with freshly made kebabs in hand, along with some books, water and Daniel’s new prized possession – an NFL ball that we got when we purchased new runners (more about those later).

In short, the park was lovely. Lots of greenery and heaps of Bulgarian locals strolling around enjoying the shade and the sun. After eating our kebabs we walked around and took some photos…

After this, Daniel started to get super excited as we found a stretch of grass that was big enough to let us play football. We started playing by ourselves, having heaps of fun and then two little boys asked, in Bulgarian of course, if they could play. We didn’t understand what they were on about but we all soon got the gist and enjoyed a nice hour playing and laughing together.
